Joyce Nemser graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1999 and is a licensed acupuncturist in Massachusetts. As a student, she was an intern at the Pathways to Wellness clinic and later worked there as a independent contractor. She has a certificate in Acupuncture Detoxification (NADA) and worked at the Acupuncture Detoxification Clinic at the Boston Public Health Commission for 13 years. She also has treated private patients since 1999.
She has given talks on acupuncture at various clinics including Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center, Pine Street Inn, Sun Life Financial and Home Start. She was a volunteer at Rosie’s Place for an event called “Love Yourself” for many years.
She is committed to helping others wisdom. She will incorporate her knowledge of Ear Acupuncture, Dr. Tan’s style and Japanese and Chinese Acupuncture in this setting.
She has participed in regional meetings of POCA – People’s organization of community acupuncture, attended POCAFEST in June of 2015 and has been a volunteer with them in the past.
Holistic medicine has been extremely beneficial in bringing me closer to harmony and health. She entered into this natural medicine after a long bout of eczema and found relief and healing from the inside out.
She enjoys meditation, long walks and reading in her free time.
